I remember picking out every color I wanted for my room back in Texas. I envisioned it being aesthetically pleasing, at least for my six-year-old self. This design passion has stayed with me until this day. Design is a way of expression. A designed space should represent the persona and aspirations of the person that utilizes it; your space should enhance your mood and catalyze your confidence. The approach I have taken in interior design is tailoring my personal knowledge to another person’s taste. This is a skill that will benefit me greatly as a designer and enable others to feel a reflection of themselves within their designed space.
